OULTON PARISH NEWS April 2015
A quarter of the year has already gone and we find ourselves at Easter. Spring is here- birds are nesting and the countryside is turning a delicate hue of green. Once more the daffodils in the village are putting on a good show and now is the time to notice other potential planting areas for later in the year.
Lent and Easter Services.
Fifteen people attended the Mothering Sunday service. Sadly there were no children present but Spring posies were distributed to the adults for their mothers or in memory of them. Palm Sunday was celebrated with a group communion service at St. Agnes, Cawston and in keeping with another tradition, palm crosses were presented to each member of the congregation. If anyone would like one they are available in Oulton church, so please help yourselves.
